Staying Safe at PrideFest

We want to make sure everyone has a fun and safe time at Croydon PrideFest. Please read our policies below.

 

Ticketing

Please ensure you keep your ticket safe and be ready to show it upon arrival at the security checkpoint. Tickets can either be shown on your phone or printed.
All under 16s must be accompanied by a guardian 18 years of age or older.
Please note, there will be no access to non-ticket holders.
Tickets are free but must be registered in advance. Click here for tickets.

Alcohol and Beverages

Our licensing conditions do not permit alcohol to be brought into the Croydon PrideFest venue. There will be multiple bars within Wandle Park serving alcohol and other non-alcoholic beverages which accept cash, card, and contactless payments. Water can be brought into Wandle Park but must be in a transparent sealed or original container, and you may be asked to open it in front of security staff. We reserve the right to request the disposal of water prior to entry and bottled water is available to purchase beyond the entry point. Strictly no glass will be allowed into Wandle Park. Any glass found will be confiscated.

If you look under 25 and would like to purchase alcohol, please remember you need Proof of Age ID with a PASS hologram, a photographic driving license or a passport. Remember enjoy alcohol responsibly.

 

Bag Searches

Security bag searches will be undertaken at PrideFest for your safety. This may mean that queues could take a little longer than expected, but can be avoided if you do not need to bring a bag.

Full security checks will be conducted before entrance. Please have any coats open and remove hats at search areas.
There are no left luggage facilities.
We reserve the right to search any size bag at any time.

 

Security and Safety

Croydon PrideFest has a relaxed and fun atmosphere but please take the same precautions as you would on any other night out to be safe. There will be plenty of trained security staff around the festival venue who will be available if you have any queries or concerns. In an emergency, please follow the advice of security and stewards. Your safety is our top priority. You can also ask any bar staff, security of events stewards for “Angela”

 

Drugs

There is a zero tolerance policy to drugs and anyone in possession of drugs will be treated with normal enforcement laws, ejected from the venue and the police called. ‘Legal’ highs are also not permitted on site. No NOS is allowed – anyone found with NOS will be assumed you intend to supply which is illegal.

 

Dogs and other animals

Dogs and other pets are not permitted within the Croydon PrideFest site, with the exception of assistance dogs and service animals.

 

Photos and Videos

We will be taking photos and videos throughout the day for our own records and for local, regional, and national publicity.

Travel & Transport

There is no parking at Wandle Park nor around the surrounding streets. For disabled customer parking please email [email protected] (spaces are limited and subject to availability). Any illegally parked cars may be ticketed or removed to a car pound.

There are several ways to access Wandle Park by public transport so please visit www.tfl.gov.uk to find your best route. The closest Tram stop onto the event site is Wandle Park.

After the event there are a number of walking routes to stations or bus stops.

Wandle Park Tram station will operate a Stop and Go sign and staff system to regulate customers into the station. Please cooperate with staff as they manage your journey home.

There will be road closures in place all day in roads around Wandle Park.

If you order an Uber or regulated mini cab they will have to pick you up outside the road closure system. The best pick up points are Factory Lane at the junction of Westfield Road, Waddon New Road at the junction of Rectory Grove, or Waddon Road at the junction of Vicarage Road.
