Join Our Team of Volunteers at Croydon Pride!

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our trustees and help us make a lasting impact in the community. As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to celebrating and empowering Croydon’s LGBTQIA+ residents.

Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities

We need committed volunteers to support the charity throughout the year in the following areas:

• Admin – Help ensure the charity delivers vital support to Croydon’s LGBTQIA+ community.
• Event Coordination – Assist in planning, organising, and promoting events year-round.
• Fundraising – Help identify and support fundraising opportunities.
• Bid Writing – Assist in applying for grants and funding to support our work.

Croydon PrideFest Day-Only Volunteer Roles

If you’d like to help out just for the day, we have exciting opportunities available at Croydon PrideFest:

• Fundraising – Collect donations to support Croydon Pride’s work.
• Navigation – Guide attendees and ensure everyone can find their way around Wandle Park.
• Stallholder Support – Ensure stallholders have everything they need on the day.
• Croydon Pride Information Stand – Represent the charity, answer questions, and provide information.
• Data Collection – Gather valuable feedback to help improve future PrideFest events.

What We’re Looking For:

• A commitment to Croydon Pride’s mission and values
• Responsiveness to internal communications
• Attendance at volunteer meetings
• Willingness to complete tasks between meetings
• A collaborative mindset—valuing all opinions and working towards consensus
• Respect for confidentiality and sensitive information
